RT @sherjo www.microsoft.com/mac (MacBU site) is down - engineers working on it - expect it back online today. Will provide update as soon as I have. (About 11:00AM PST)
They took it off because they realized Macs are perfect, and they can do anything that a PC can do, but 10000x better, and at the same time, when you use a Mac, you save 3 children from starvation in Nigeria.
Macs are just that superior to PCs.
//sarcasm, chill out. I'm just sick of idiots around the college campus here noticing I'm running Windows 7, then making it their destiny to convince me to get a Macbook.
I have to agree with Ponies that this is probably just a glitch. Microsoft wouldn't just halt development for Mac - despite the ads - because that leaves a lot of room for competitors to pick up the slack.
It's probably glitching unrelated to anything. But still - it would be kind of a cold comeuppance for Apple.
"Hey Apple - you guys want to badmouth us? That's okay. We'll just make our products incompatible with your platform. And if you call our practices "anti-competitive" we'll just point to your practices with respect to the iPod."
@Brian Schroeder: Very much so. Mactopia was infinitely easier to surf to gather all of the much needed Office and other updates than Microsofts main sight.
