This might be an unpopular sentiment on this site, but there is something so sincerely wrong with what's being done to that insect. Wrong on so many levels, and yet, I can't deny that that's future. What can be done, will be done.
@RiceBandit: I have. When I was staying in a rental house in Grenada, one of those "mahogany birds" flew in through the window and hit the wall with a dull little thud, but it flew right over my head and I even felt the wind of its nasty little airfoils on the side of my face. I didn't sleep the rest of the night lol.
@Its off the Hizzle fo $hizzle My Dizzle: It gets better. Cockroaches have very primitive mouthparts, which are good at gnawing at most types of foods, including flesh. If you pass out in an alleyway, roaches may, on occasion, take nips out of your fingertips. Aren't they cool?

When roaches fly, they make a very sickening "patatatatatat" noise with their brown ugly wings clapping at each other.
Just thought I'd say that.
