@Rosa Golijan: Your heartless! I read that iPhone post and how you break up. Funny, effective, and downright dirty. I like it though... #openofficemouse
And lastly, there's a button for mapping buttons to other buttons. Simply hold down CTRL+ALT+SHIFT and F12 while simultaneously holding the Button Mapping button and the combination of keystrokes and buttons to be mapped. It's quick and easy!#openofficemouse
@met2art: I was about to say that this thing would be useless without replicating the entire keyboard, but now I know I can triple the mind-numbing-button-madness I simply have no excuse but to order one.
Truly, we need crack pipe to comprehend all of the wonders available. #openofficemouse
I think i will program all the buttons on the left to do the left click function, and all the buttons on the right hand side to do the right click function. And then bask in the ridicule of having such a feature-rich mouse yet wasting it. I love technology. #openofficemouse
@TJ: Beat me to it, but I was going to suggest the author put HER favorite porn sites on the buttons. Then she can REALLY push her favorite button. #openofficemouse
@pdditty: That sentence was completely unrelated to what she was writing about. I would know, I was there.
Heheh, allllrrrriiigggghhhtt. #openofficemouse
@Rosa Golijan: Why hellooo! Fancy meeting you on your article. :)
By the way, I feel I should compliment your articles. Some of them are pretty good, you're giving the other guys a run for their money.
@Duckspwn: See, I came here to scold you for revealing our torrid affair after you swore up and down that it was between us, but then you flatter me...
@Rosa Golijan: So your orgasm was unrelated to the mouse? What is this like a stream of consciousness? I knew you screwed around on the job but cheese and crackers... #openofficemouse
Autocad. Plain and simple. Having the 18 most common commands loaded in, such as l, co, plot, m, mi, pasteclip, copybase, and so on. I would love it. That is, if I could remember which button was which and then consistently hit it correctly. #openofficemouse
@AkronZip: also digging the idea of shortcutting Photoshop/Illustrator tool palettes so i don't need my key-commands...and solidworks, and studiomax...might need to bug the boss about this one
like you said tho, remembering which button was what, and not getting fat-fingered and mashing multiple buttons seems like a challenge #openofficemouse
@AkronZip: This mouse would be fantastic for autocad. I can only imagine how much time it could save with just a little bit of practice. #openofficemouse
@Duckspwn: Loves Approving Reds: I worked with AutoCad for 3 years so far and I am willing to bet that it would be useable. I mean, I use the keyboard without looking at it, so why shouldn't I be able to train myself to use the mouse? I am able to just reach down and type almost all of the commands with one hand when using cad. #openofficemouse
@OMG! Ponies!: So you can buy the laptop hardware for $200, and then spend ~$100 for Windows and ~$100 for Microsoft Office and double the price. What a deal.
@OMG! Ponies!: dude OO is aweeesome man. The only issue is my fully updatable 2007 BitTorrent copy of Office...
OO is a viable option for those not up for downloading illegally and not wanting to shell out the money. For god's sakes, it does .PDF even when Office still not do it...although I stopped using that feature much when I found the awesomeness of PrimoPDF
@OMG! Ponies!: I don't know if you are too old to remember college or too young to have gone there....the pirating crowd which I would assume is vastly in the 18-24 category (total assumption but I think you can see where I am coming from) doesn't have $100 just to buy Office.
I do see what you are saying though. If I was an older person making a salary income then I would swallow $100 a little easier.
That being said, personally I use Outlook more than all the other Office suites combines (phone synch when I had BJII, e-mail, contact, ect.) Obviously OO cannot offer that and Outlook doesn't come with the $100 version you are talking about so I enjoy my enterprise addition.
@ThisIsSharksTerriroty: I remember college well. I remember that I got college discounts and regularly called my folks for money. Especially for necessary expenses like a word-processing program.
For students, Office Home is less than $70. And 5 anytime minutes for the phone call home to hit Mom up for money.
