Windows Mobile might not be perfect (lol, might?), but at least I can take a poorly-programmed application and crash it on my phone if that's what I really want to do.

The iPhone would probably have to reach a more dominant position in the marketplace before the justice department started stepping in and making them open up the store.
It's a sham Apple insists on this policy, though. I really do have to believe that competition breeds excellence.
