    Is it not the point that this designer is using second life materials to produce his work, rather than sourcing virgin materials like most other designers?! If people are going to make chairs anyway it is better that they responsibly source second hand materials than making extra demands of the earths natural resources?!
    What is everyone's problem? These materials HAVE been recycled in the making of this chair, not 'pissed on' as some so eloquently put it.
    This designer is an important part of the British Sustainable design movement, opening up the debate as to what life-cycles our products and waste create.
    Art is a matter of personal taste and opinion.
    However; one who presumes a designer of chairs would make a chair that is uncomfertable to sit on is trully narrow minded.
    I'm interested to see the work of some of the people who've made these educated comments.

    How is wood and steel "Hard to Recycle"? Those are two of the easiest products on the market to recycle.
