    From what I've heard, 10.5.7 is crap....That's the only reason I haven't installed it. I think I'll wait for 10.5.8...

    @superatombomb: The PowerMac G5 was discontinued in August 2006. I would have expected a little more than 3 years of support for such an expensive computer.

    @newgalactic: I'm using a Dual 1GHz G4 MDD Powermac with 2GB of RAM, and it's surprising how well it runs with 10.5, especially with the dual upgraded hard drives (still have Tiger installed on the other drive), for a computer that was made in 2002. I don't think I'll be dumping that computer until it actually dies for good. I'll bet I can squeeze another 2 years out of it with no problem.


    I may even upgrade the processor with one of the Sonnet kits one day.
