    Hrmmm, I figure with 4 of these units, I could cover most of my house with mobile cameras, and also keep track of me and the cats. Well, then I would need 4 on each floor, b/c we are all sometimes on the same floor at the same time. Add in some face tracking, and auto-docking/recharge, and I'll test em out.

    any word on the robot that is being built to jump over stuff? or is that just an excuse for DARPA guys to go watch the NBA playoffs?

    @Chris Humphrey: It could have slipped under the rail at a spot where the ballast was low.
