    Hahahahahaah. That is just rich. I thought I saw hundreds of posts saying there would NEVER be Fart Apps on Pre or Android because there wouldn't be a market for them and these platforms would only attract "serious" developers.

    Now we'll get people saying that out of the 1000 apps available for the Pre, 50% are fart apps, or whatever such nonsense.

    Karma.

    For the record I could care less about brands/platforms/carriers/fart apps.

    @vqro: I've never seen a post saying that there would never be them, I only saw the hope that there never would and that there were too many of them in the app store. Now we must ridicule the Pre too because of the fart apps.

    I see palm is allowing more scandalous apps than Apple. (unless there is a queef app for the iPhone that I don't know about)

    @TheCrudMan: I remember learning Palm's Graffiti. It still didn't always work, but it was surprisingly accurate.

    Still, I wouldn't go back. I like have the best of both worlds on my G1.

    Am I the only one who doesn't really care about apps? I had an iPod touch and the apps didn't really matter much to me. I got it free with my Macbook last year. I was at dinner with a few friends on Saturday. Half of them had iPhones. They were trying to use some bill splitting app or whatever to figure out how much they owed. I just took the total of my order, multiplied by 1.0725 (tax) and again by 1.18 (gratuity) and added a little tip.

    As long as I have Pandora I'm okay. I don't really need/want anything else. If I want to play games when I'm not at my house, I'll buy a ds.

    I love my Pre... but by the time they actually get their review/approval process worked out, get something worthwhile on the App Catalog and get the payment system working, nobody is going to care anymore.
