Why would I want this? One of the big reasons I wanted the Pre was the physical keyboard? Waste of programming time...

    Where's my flickr app, programmers!

I don't understand some smartphone users. When the Pre first can out, Giz said that even though the physical keyboard could be better, at least it was a physical keyboard. Then, a few months later, the decide, "hey, what I really want is an on-screen keyboard". Then, when someone makes one, they slam Palm for not making something themselves that
"it should have had in the first place."

Decide what you like and stick with it.

@SoaringDisbelief: nobody slammed palm in this article. they just made mention of something that was overlooked at the product launch. there are plenty of times gadgets comes out and its deficiencies are not immediately realized.

@SoaringDisbelief: Yeah, it's just a new feature that'd be easy to add, and helpful for some. What's the downside?

@Nick: I love Nick: WTF is your problem, dude? Facts, c'mon now. We both know that they don't matter. Stick to flamebait or GTFO!

Haha, thanks for adding something intelligent to the conversation.

@Nick: I love Nick @John Herrman @My Secret Identity: I'm not trying to start a flame war or bitch about anything or complain about Giz, I don't even own a smartphone. I just don't think that you should praise the fact that it has a hardware keyboard and then blame Palm for not putting in a software keyboard. it seems to me like people tried to find small faults that they could them try to throw back at Palm and say "yeah now fix this". I'm not trying to say if should or shouldn't have both keyboards, I honestly couldn't say either way (again I don't own one). I just wish they would be a little more... tactful, if that's the right word.

@SoaringDisbelief: you're exactly right. we do find small faults and then say fix them. that's what the game is all about. you buy gadgets with small faults. you don't buy the ones with big faults. now that you're up to speed -- send palm an e-mail and tell them to do a soft qwerty

This is one thing I will never understand. Why would you want to play any game on such a small screen? Pre or iPhone? I have a Pre, but I also have a PS3 and an Xbox 360. I'll keep my gaming on my 50".

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

It's all about Quake 2 WOD.
