You guys crack me up with your Pre praise. Who'd a thunk that you'd be so Palmtastic. I'd love to see how the handset does when it makes it to the market. But really, let's be a bit more realistic in the expectations we set for this thing.

This list has some good candidates and Dean should have ranked a little higher on his God-meter. As much as I hate using the term, Gates and Jobs (and Woz) were the real mavericks. They brought personal computing to the masses and everything else (PDA's, cell phones, etc) ushered in right behind them. While these guys (and gal) today are doing their parts to take this even further, the field has already been plowed. I don't doubt they'll have their share of contributions and make their mark, I just don't see any of them reaching the same level that Bill and Steve have.

The problem with the list is that there is only one guy on there who is listed as being considered for godhood who is genuinely out to better the lives of people everywhere over and over again.

Laugh at the Segway all you want, but it's an amazing piece of technology that is designed to increase people's mobility. And his water purification plant... Just amazing what this man thinks of.
