Well it's finally over. You can't come back. But wanna know how many pancakes we made?

Counting up the 629 large, 1074 medium and 4730 mini pancakes that we made on the ChefStack machine, the final number comes to 6433. Good lord, that's alotta pancakes.

Thanks again for those of you who came out to Giz Gallery '09. And for those of you who didn't, may god have mercy on your soul.

<![CDATA[At Giz Gallery 09: ChefStack Automatic Pancake Maker]]> Hey buddy—yeah, you. Like pancakes? What about a machine that can automatically spit out about 200 of 'em in an hour? Well lucky for you, the ChefStack pancake maker is going to be at Giz Gallery '09.

This is the first of many in-gallery items we plan to reveal in the next couple of weeks leading up to Giz Gallery '09, and we love the $3500 ChefStack because it's both amazing and ridiculous. Basically, you just attach a bag of pre-made batter to the ChefStack and let it go to work. Before you know it, a pancake breakfast will be sitting in front of your face (at Giz Gallery, of course).

<![CDATA[ChefStack Automatic Pancake Machine Celebrates Gluttony]]>
And saves you needlessly wasting calories on, you know, cooking for yourself, or hitting up a cafe.

Clearly aimed at coffee shops and shut-ins, the $3500 device (yeah, you read that right) spits out perfectly formed four-inch pancakes at a rate of 200 per hour. ChefStack says its pancake mix is also 97% fat free, so though you'll be poor, you'll at least be guilt-free. [ChefStack via Uncrate]

<![CDATA[Personalized Pancakes: Laser Etching vs. Silkscreen vs. Stencils]]> It appears that Instructables member lamedust has moved on from laser-etched tattoos and fingernails to the exciting world of pancake personalization. I don't even touch a pancake unless it has the entire Simpsons cast etched on it, so I was excited to see which of the three printing methods would work best for my time-consuming pancake problem. Check out the very annoying video above and decide for yourself. [Instructables]

<![CDATA[Batter Blaster Spews Canned Pancakes Like They're Easy Cheese]]> Pancakes are a pain in the ass to make, but not any more with Batter Blaster. Just spray this organic pancake goo onto a hot skillet and your steamy breakfast is just a couple of minutes away, bacon not included. If you don't mind using Cheez Whiz Easy Cheese in its spray can, this looks like just about the same concept except it's pancake slime instead of orange cheesy crud. One problem we see right away, though, is there are just eight servings per can. You know how that goes with serving numbers on packages—if it says the package will serve 8, that's only true if seven people aren't eating. For an even easier battered breakfast experience, you could just skip all this canned goodness and pop a couple of Eggos in the toaster. [Batter Blaster, via Strange New Products]
