The iPanda, an adorable iPod docking station by animal-themed audio system makers Speakal! The China bear-shaped dock boasts four speakers and a 4” subwoofer for 25 watts of sound and “360° sound distribution.” Pump up the volume by touching the panda's left ear, or lower the sound by touching the right. Don't worry, give it a go—unlike real pandas, this one won't bite you when you try to hug it.

Turn the speaker dock on and the iPanda's little smiley mouth will light up. Use the included remote, and it'll blink at you. Besides being able to dock your iPhones and iPods, it also comes with a standard 3.5mm input jack. The cost for adding a little panda-monium to your pad: $140. [Speakal]

<![CDATA[Eco-Friendly BamGoo Car Is Meal on Wheels For Pandas]]> Researchers at Kyoto University recently displayed an eco-friendly electric car made almost entirely out of bamboo, one of the fastest growing materials available. The single-seat “BamGoo” weighs about 130 pounds, can only run about 30 miles on a charge, and probably won't pass any safety tests, but it sure is cute! Let's just hope that there aren't any wandering pandas about. [Daylife]

<![CDATA[Tuttuki Box Is Like an LCD Truck Stop Bathroom For Your Finger]]> Insert your finger into the Tuttuki Bako (Tuttuki Box) and you probably won't feel much. Unless you look at the screen, you wouldn't know that you were clumsily stoking a tiny panda, a small, terrified man or even a woman's understandably unhappy face with an inappropriate-looking appendage. This lovely toy will superimpose a live digital representation of your digit on a couple of equally unsettling scenes and costs about $30, though it's only available in Japan for now (and probably forever). I'm not sure what need or desire this fulfills, but if anyone knows please feel free not to let me know. Bonus screens after the jump. [Crunchgear]

<![CDATA[$75,000 Chair is Made of Pandas. PANDAS!]]> This Banquette Chair is as close as you're going to get to a chair made entirely out of Pandas unless you're David Bowie. It's a chair. It's made of stuffed pandas. It's $75,000. What more do you need to know? Create one for yourself after a trip to Ikea, a trip to Home Depot, and a trip to the carnival. [DVICE]

<![CDATA[USB Panda Webcam Eats Children]]> Okay, it won't literally consume the children—I may have exaggerated a bit on that notion, but look at the devil eyes of this panda and tell me he isn't up to something evil. The small, red gem on this evil panda's stomach is supposedly a webcam, but I would like to think it is actually a laser that is capable of slightly wounding people so the panda's consumption process can begin. Let the terror begin, for $24.

<![CDATA[DAP Delights for November 2]]> Today's DAP Headlines:

A bit of a quiet day in DAP land, this fine Wednesday. Sony presents an expensive version of their successful NW-5/6 concept, the NW-608 SI (Special Edition) and we've encountered two rare DAP species: Gacme's GM-X600 and a panda bear-shaped MP3 player (made by a company called "Kiwi").

sony_nw608.jpgSony's NW-608 SI (or just "Special Edition" if you prefer) offers somewhat improved looks, a 2GB storage capacity (flash memory) and one hell of a price tag (52.500 Japanese Yen, aka 450 bucks) to baffle us all with. Should hit the stores by the end of November (Japan-only, presumably). They also added "snow crystals" to the OLED screen - like we know what they meant by that.

gacme_dap.jpgThen there's Gacme's GM-X600, which basically combines the old faitful shuffle navigation wheel and some cube-like elements, as formerly introduced by MobiBlu (DAH-1500, also known as "the Cube"). We're wondering if this concept will ever live to see the light of day - don't count on it too much, though.

panda_mp3.jpgAnd here's our catch of the day: a panda bear-shaped DAP by the name of "Kiwi Global International Corp. Panda MP3 Player". It comes with all the usual features, such as a built-in FM tuner and a voice recorder but we're guessing that the actual design of it all would have to be this thing's most eye-catching feature.

Ok, that's it for now. See you again soon enough!
