Universally loathed, he faked his own death in 2007 only to resurface again in 2009 after a judge ordered a permanent injunction on Microsoft Word sales.

With his revenue finally dried up, he could no longer support the massive drug habit he developed over the last two years as a means of coping with his demons. This final injustice was simply more than Clippy could stand. Although, it's hard to feel sorry for him because he just sucked so...so much. [Tonight Show]

<![CDATA[The Paperclip iPhone/iPod Touch Stand]]> If $100 is just too much for you to pay for a homemade iPhone stand, then this paperclip version might be a better option. And to anyone who has ever paid more than 50 cents to hold any pocket electronic, hopefully this fan-made pwnage will keep your money in your pocketbook/child savings accounts next time. <![CDATA[USBFever Reinvents iPhone 3G SIM-Eject Tool, Sells it for $3]]> When Apple reinvented the paperclip for the famous SIM-eject tool, it was at least a free gizmo, included in the package. USBFever clearly thought there was a gap in this market though, and have reinvented the reinvention. The new SIM-eject tool has a rubber-bung top that allows it to be stored in your iPhone 3G's headphone socket ready to be whipped out at a moment's notice when you need to change the SIM card. Probably only for really frequent SIM-swappers who don't use headphones, though, since it will cost you $3. [USBFever]

<![CDATA[Paper Clip Lamp Holds Giant Rent Checks]]> Out of all the office supplies that could be made into lamps, the paper clip seems the most unusual. However, the way Ben Collette and David Wykes made this bendable paper clip into a lamp makes the whole idea work in a way we wouldn't expect. Not only is it bendable, it's posable as well. Our only concern would be that it doesn't bend, bend, bend, and then break, like a real paper clip—which instead of a small cut would get you a large electrocution. [Mocoloco]
