@Morberis: I'll use this moment to explain that I sometimes use Penn & Teller as a gauge of how well I may or may not get along with someone. I've found it works a lot better than wha tphone they use, what car they drive, or what OS they choose to argue about.
People who have watched and read P&T, and who also "get" them, and are in line with their concepts, style, attitudes and outlook... that's good people that I can relate to. People who don't? Not so much.
Buy their books, Cruel Tricks for Dear Friends, and How to Play With Your Food. Old books, but freakin' brilliant, cover to cover. In fact, buy everything they've ever done. Seriously.
@Morberis: Only the awesomest magicians to ever grace any stage since Houdini. They appeared on Celebrity Fear Factor once (the only episode of FF that I've ever bothered to watch...at all). Teller did all of the stunts, and Penn just stood around, talking smack, and making side bets with the other celebrities on the outcome. They made it to the semi-final round, Penn pulled in $300 in side bets (noone bet him on the round they lost), and they did the whole thing while flying back and forth to Vegas each night to do their regular shows (each event took place on a different day).
@ɹǝpılloɔɹǝdns: In my defense, it may have been your Taco Bell that caused that reaction. :O
Seriously, that unnaturally red taco shell makes me cringe. In fact, just about everything in Taco Bell makes me cringe, including some of the C.H.U.D. they have working for them. Yikes!
