Just because someone charges $1000 to photograph your pet doesn't mean they're worth it.
That being said, you wouldn't catch a REAL pro charging bargain basement prices so chances are no matter what you're not going to get much for $200 either.

My favorite dog related Far Side comic was the one where the dog was hiding behind the laundry room door, trying to lure the cat into the dryer. All the while he's standing there thinking to himself, "Oh please, oh please, oh please..." as the cat contemplates entering the open dryer...
