And now, they'll give you 20% off if you use it. Jim Breuer approves! [Consumerist]

<![CDATA[Pizza Hut's iPhone App Makes Pizza Ordering Easier, More Gimmicky]]> Pizza Hut has just unveiled its new iPhone App, one that lets you order food as well as, uh, play a racing game.

This app does what you'd expect it to do — order pizza and wings — while also making full use of the iPhone's functionality to gimmicky effect. When you order wings, for example, you need to shake your phone to get the wings covered in sauce. Cool?

And there's "Hut Racer," a basic-looking racing game that they tacked on there to trick you into opening the app more and then randomly deciding to order a pizza.

But hey, in the end, this is another way to order food without having to interact with another human being, so I'm all for it. [Pizza Hut]

<![CDATA[Pizza Hut Delivering Limited Edition 'Fight Night' Xbox 360]]> EA sports and Pizza Hut have teamed up to bring boxing fans the chance to win a limited edition Fight Night Round 4 custom Xbox 360 console. It's made by colorware, the same people that paint consoles for regular folks.

Oh, and the grand prize is a trip to Vegas to see a championship fight. So, yeah...this Xbox console rules. The even included a little dried blood on there—nice touch. Should it have been the grand prize you think? I mean, Vegas is Vegas, but with MMA stealing the spotlight, boxing is more entertaining on consoles anyway. [Pizza Hut and Colorware]

<![CDATA[Pizza Hut Starts Text Message Delivery]]> Pizza Hut, ever expanding both waistlines and accessibility to their greasy goodness, has launched a new mobile ordering service allowing users to text message 4 pizza. Apparently online pizza orders have really taken off, accounting for 20 percent of total sales (that stat is either from Pizza Hut or Papa John's, we couldn't discern from the copy) and texting could account for another huge percentage as well.

I realized I was getting old when not so long ago I ordered a pizza via the web for the first time and waited nervously for it to come. It reminded me of tales from Amazon's launch, when customers didn't trust entering their credit cards into their computers...so they instead told the numbers to strangers at Amazon call centers who would write the digits on loose leaf. <![CDATA[Weird Combo of the Day: Free LG Chocolate Phone with Pizza]]> We're aware that Pizza Hut has some kind of deal with Verizon so you can get a Chocolate cellphone with purchase of a large pizza. But seriously, do these two things go together? Should they?

Thanks Quan!
