    Dear Sony,
I don't care about the color of my stupid PSP Go. Will you be developing small prosthetic hands for people so they can play this dumb thing without cramping? My dad thinks I'm ungrateful because I don't use it, and my mom thinks my hand cramps are because of... well, that's not important.

In summation, Sony, please stop fucking shit up like this. Bring me smaller hands, or add a second analog stick to the original PSP. What the fuck is wrong with you?

    @met2art: @VideoVampire:

ok lets take a step back for a second and rethink things real quick.

What happened when the psp was released..
"o man, this thing is so big! i can fit it in my pocket!"

    or the original xbox controller..

I mean in all honesty, it isnt that bad. The shoulder buttons need to worked on but aside from that, they did exactly what people yelled at them about.

also, if you have trouble with your pspgo then i fear how bad it must be to use a cell phone... #pspgo

@jomama22: "if you have trouble with your pspgo then i fear how bad it must be to use a cell phone..."

The difference being, I don't try to twitch dial my phone by attempting to press several buttons rapidly, at once, while simultaneously manipulating a D-pad that's smaller than my thumb.

Good point, though, in regards to people never being happy about the siz eof their devices. It's a tough metric to calculate. Can't please everyone, I guess. I thought the original PSP was a nice compromise between portability and capability. #pspgo

@Curves: While I have no interest in a PSPgo at all, (regardless of color) I must concur, with all due haste, that a stainless steel finish (brushed!) is just epicly awesome. I'm hardpressed to think of many things that wouldn't benefit from such a magnificent and stately exterior treatment.

Some things should be corrected in his statement..

    Mid-life cycle? No. Mid-life crisis.

"We didn't want to divert their efforts either."

No. Actually that would be: "We didn't want to ease their development efforts either."

@Skeetz: How does having two different control schemes ease anybody's development? If they had two control schemes to develop for, they would need to make efforts to make games compatible with both, or, as I believe might be better worded, divert their efforts. Of course, that's assuming that you intend for these new games to be developed for both the older models, having many units in the hands of players, or just for the PSP Go, which Sony, in as many words, has said would be marketed towards early-adopters at first. So, yeah, I suppose it would make it easier for developers to copy home console control schemes for a handheld that will be owned by a small subsection of the potential market.

@Skeetz: What joseph said. Developers would have to either develop two different control schemes or the control scheme that everyone already has. What do you think they would do?

I am glad Sony kept 1 analog stick. Save the 2nd analog for next gen.

@josephbloseph: You know how in a video game you have the option to change buttons around at your leisure? I have that feature in a lot of the PSP games I have. I'm pretty sure a game could swap between PSP GO and the original PSP's layout just as easily on its own (if it had two analog sticks i mean).. If using GO use stick if using Orig PSP use square circle triangle x

But yeah, you're right, that wouldn't ease development at this level because they have to be back compat.. so they still have to waste their time being "innovative" about a control scheme which sucks for developers and perpetuates the mid-life crisis

c'mon guys. don't forget that you have to peddle to developers to a certain degree. you can't just put out hardware and demand everyone to develop for it. sony, early this year, made a move to make it cheaper for developers and i think they have drawn a line in the sand and decided that developers are the folks they have to focus on right now. they need compelling games to bring in users. they already have the hardware, but still trail behind xbox and their crappy 360 (troll'd) because of the software side of things. granted, all this is my opinion; but i don't think it's too far off.

was that a proper use of a semi-colon? i can never remember.

Sony aren't going to truly consider a second analogue stick until the PSP2, or whatever it'll be called. A feature I'd love would be Bluetooth connectivity for use with DS3.

Well, even though it should have been implemented in the beginning, introducing it to a relatively old device with a large span of games already is not a smart move. They're waiting for the psp2 which hooks up to your nipples, no need for analog.
