@ZetaCrossfire: Although I completely agree with you, there is a reason:

Douche-nozzles want an un-fair advantage, and they are willing to do whatever it takes to win, so they can feel better about themselves and their otherwise pointless lives.

It's the console-video-game equivalent of steroids, if it's not supported by the code/console and it gives you an advantage, it's cheating, plain and simple (and yes, I even extend that to turbo-controllers).

@bpapa9013: I greatly disagree. I was raised on consoles and I never really could figure out a joystick at least for aiming. I don't think this is an unfair advantage. I think that this is just an easier way to port 360 only games. With out a mouse and keyboard I refuse to play any FPS. That and I really don't want to have to learn 2 control schemes

this is a horrible development for this console and I am really glad that the cost is so prohibitively high. the controller is a standardizing element in what should be an absolutely standardized gaming environment. When you console game, everyone you play with is using the same hardware and holding the same (or similar) controller, and that creates a more level (and fun) playing field. The last thing I want on Xbox live are a bunch of dbags who have been playing Counter Strike in their parents basement religiously since it came out hopping on teh haloz and t0tally pwn1ng n00bz because the controls have been changed to be identical to what they've been using for years.

@Chewbenator: Yes, if they want to make use of the skill they have developed w/ a mouse and kb, then they should stick to PC games.
