    I think anyone that has seen iRobot is hoping the future has a badass Will Smith-type hero to save us when the future AI robot overlords decide to kill us for our own good.

    We just need to invent a way for the robots to harness the power generated from humans. Then we farm humans for their power and put their minds in a computer generated universe set in 1999 when everything is real peachy in order to keep them under control.

    Well, they can use solar, but I think by that point they will have seen our entertainment projections, and realized that we will have no qualms about nuking the planet to block the sun.


    My theory is that they will build orbital solar collectors with microwave transmitters. When there is enough, they will break them from their orbit and microwave us where we stand/sit/fap.
