on another note, isn't their controller already "motion sensing"? Sure, its not to the same extent as as nintendo's, but it's proven to be a gimmick that has yet to be realized on the playstation 3's games so far

For example the PSN title Flower does as good a job as possible with Sixaxis, but it quickly becomes a pain to use. What feels like a good resting position for your wrists is actually almost full reverse. 'Neutral' is when the controller's face is parallel to the ground. Since there's no option for custom calibration, you have to hold the controller in a way it wasn't meant to be held to appease the accelerometers most of the time.
