At Giz Gallery: Reader Meetup With a Back To the Future DeLorean
We've been teasing out a few of our 40+ Gizmodo Gallery gadgets on display next week in NYC, like the 103-inch Panasonic plasma, Apple prototypes and the first Walkman. But did I mention we'll have a DeLorean parked outside the Gallery next Friday night December 5th, coinciding with the reader meetup? No? Did I mention its a car with full Back To the Future props. No? Huh, funny. I probably should have told you that earlier. Anyhow, here are the details for the reader meetup, which I hope you can come to. -

Chicago Gizmodo Party, In Photos
Thanks again to everyone who made it out to the Hotel Sax for the Gizmodo's Chicago reader meetup. For those who didn't make it out, I think the night went pretty well, as people alternated between the line for the bar and the dual Rock Band 2 stations, the official ecosystem of the event. We never got a firm headcount, but we'd estimate the attendance to have been just south of 200 people, an eclectic mix of ages, professions and musical abilities. Click through for the full gallery. Wired's Nextfest opens to the public in Chicago's Millennium Park on September 27th. So we figured it was the perfect time to throw a get-together for the Midwestern contingent of our readership.
