    @Dan: I'm not quite sure where your cynical tone is coming from. It seems like you're implying that if NYT does an article that's not about Al Queda or our economic problems that they deserve to be ridiculed for not being more serious journalists. Where does that leave you? Not only does Gizmodo fall in to the same category of news, but you personally don't even do investigative reporting, you just write about other peoples fluff stories. Don't get me wrong, I'm all in favor of fluff journalism and entertainment, but it seems to me that those who make their living off of other journalists should not be so quick to criticize them.


    And the next time you go riffing on some other publication's article, you might want to bother reading it through first; the NYT clearly does mention Profiles right there in the 8th paragraph.
