Or you could just buy a Panasonic camera, which is basically the same thing.

@Princess Sparkle Pony: Nothing that Panasonic makes comes close to a Leica... And stay behind the velvet rope!...

@sfokevin: Except that the LX3 is the same camera as the DLux4 except that you don't get the nifty red Leica logo to let people know how special you are.

Oh I see how it is. It's a white camera and therefore it is better than all the black cameras. I'm watching you...

@Hello Mister Walrus: You must be a joy at the supermarket.

"Hey, why is the white pepper more expensive than the black pepper? Look at this! White pepper is $12 a pound and black pepper is $2 a pound. Nice to know that it's not even worth three-fifths anymore. Stop & Shop is racist!"

An extremely limited number of the cameras will be produced, and the price has not yet been established, but anyone interested in the special edition can call Leica's toll free number at 800-222-0118 to inquire.

I knew it wasn't for me, but I had to ask anyway. And I get no answer but a possible ballpark:

Back in January we told you about the luxurious $10,000 limited edition Leica Safari M8 camera.

    There. Saved you the clicking.
