    And then the next Yanko concept artist could create an even more meta and useless variation - a software version of the hardware version that only displays 5 albums, doesn't move, and doesn't play.

    The Reason people like having CDs is because they are DRM free. As more digital Music becomes DRM free we will see a drop in CD sales.

    @gtaz19: CD audio quality is also better than the compressed files you get from the net.
