"Consumers will only be able to buy either Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional at retail-and deliberately so; Microsoft wants to try and limit consumer confusion by only putting the two versions in front of consumers."
@AJ Haapanen: You don't understand! This news are for people who need something to hate about Windows 7 or MS. Look at the posts above you... it works like a charm. It's kinda sad since Giz also linked to the story that clarifies the who deal. It makes me feel like the site schizophrenia. Regardless, I'm probably going to go the ultimate route again if the price is right like I did for Vista :3
I know exactly what you mean. Addidas has 200 versions of the same shoe. Can't they just make one??? Stupid companies giving their customers choices and possibilities.
That kinda sucks. I've talked to a few of their techs before, and they're really helpful and friendly. I guess it's good that the flash player is easier to use, but it's not like their existing one is all that difficult.
Why didn't they just transition those people to other positions in the company?
In related news, I must say Netflix telephone support people are some of the nicest and most helpful support people I've ever had the pleasure to speak to for support.

So, no need to whine, ladies. All the other SKU's will be available to people/companies with special needs, not average engadget readers ;)

What's weird to me is that they're bragging about it on their blog. They loose Classy points for that.
