    I know lots of girls that just despise pink because it became a stereotype to "womanizing men's stuff".


    You know... making an iPhone pink to appeal to women's market, painting a soccer ball pink to say women play soccer too, and other crap like that.


    Kinda sad, because I like women who dress pink clothes (and I don't mean girls who has pink clothes, furniture, house, shoes, hair, etc etc).


    But I don't blame them.

    I am with Elaine, I hate pink gadgets, they are so condescending. (My little girl loves them, but she is a little girl so its ok.)
    @Bokusatsu_Tenshi: Wearing pink is one thing, even though I dont much since it clashes with my hair, but having pink gadgets is another. Dont even get me started on Hello Kitty gadgets.

    Looks every bit as crappy as a Daisy Rock guitar.


    You know, when my little sister asked me for a guitar for her Sweet 16, I didn't get her a "girl" guitar; I rehabbed an old Les Paul I had and gave it to her.

    @OMG! Ponies!: Did she lift weights? I'm a pretty fit 30 year-old, and Les Pauls are still heavy. Get her a Strat and put some Lace Sensors in it. Then you can get the crunch and sustain without the boat anchor.

    @badhatharry: Hell no.


    She got a battle-scarred 1980 Les Paul Firebrand with the original T-Top PAF pickups. I swapped out the nickel hardware for gold and the black trim for cream.


    The damn guitar drank about a dozen applications of oil because it had sat in my closet for years. I oiled down the fretboard (ebony with dots and frets in solid condition) and debated giving in a coat of nitro.

    @Collins1: Yeah they do, just different hairstyles. Either way, I'd show them the best 35-40 seconds of my life, and then give them a tour of my Hummel Figurines.
