HTC Touch Diamond ROM Gives Faster TouchFLO and 850MHz Support

A ROM update from Hong Kong for the HTC Touch Diamond released yesterday adds some fantastic functionality such as the use of the 850MHz GSM band (used by AT&T here in the US) and the improved TouchFLO 3D performance. Sprint Mogul ROM Update

HTC's just posted a software ROM update for the Sprint Mogul that improves Bluetooth, fixes the Alarm (it didn't go off when your phone was charging!), and fixes some Sprint Music Store stuff. It's not a huge update, so if you don't have any huge problems with your Mogul you can get away with not updating. [HTC via HoFo]

There are some rumblings on Windows Mobile forums about a possible Sprint Mogul software update by the end of October. However, some others are saying a Jan/Feb timeline is more likely. Either way, it should fix Bluetooth issues (and possibly add some GPS capabilities). [WM Experts via Boy Genius]

AT&T Windows Mobile 6 ROM For Palm Treo 750

If you've been waiting to update your Palm Treo 750 to Windows Mobile 6 becuase you didn't want the possible instability of a third-party ROM, you're in luck. The official AT&T WM6 ROM has been leaked, and you can download it now. And since this is the "official" ROM, it probably means the "real" official ROM, direct from AT&T, should be available soon. Official AT&T 8525 Windows Mobile 6 ROM Leaked

Just like the T-Mobile Dash Windows Mobile 6 Upgrade was leaked about a week before the real release, AT&T's 8525 update has just been dumped onto the internet as well. What does this mean to you? Two things.

One, the official official (meaning residing on AT&T's servers) will be upon us soon. Two, you're probably safe installing this on your phone, since it's going to be (most likely) the same ROM as the one being released soon. Happy upgrading. [XDA-Developers]
