So what part of snow eating, shrubbery worshiping, icky icky zip boing leads the to name it Roofus. If you ask me, I'd say it looks more like a Robo-snow Tick to me.

@Avizzv92: Yes, it is EXACTLY like a zamboni, except just about 1/5th the size, remotely operated, eats snow, and has lawncare attachments...

    But otherwise... yeah, TOTALLY...

Well, if this saves me from hearing the news story I hear at least once a year about the kid who built a snow fort on the curb and now everyone is surprised that he got hit/crush/buried by a passing plow, I ask some of my new "helping the guy behind ya!" taxes go towards this.

I cold see this being rally slow and frustrating. Id get pissed off after the 5th time it got stuck on my shitty cracked up driveway and throw it in the Passaic river. I see this thing being slow as shit and to have to sit there and control it with a remote!!! Boring, give me a shovel, at least Ill get a work out. And if you have a rally nice big square driveway and the money to spend on this piece of crap, you might as well hire people, or a guy in a truck who will get it done in 15 min with a big plow. This thing SUCKS... ahh i feel better now.

In related news, the body of the inventor of the Roofus Robot was found washed up along the Passaic River, according to Newark PD sources.

@OMG! Ponies!: I was joking as every time I have seen the Passaic river, it has walls.

@OMG! Ponies!: Of course he "fell". "Accidents" like this happen all the time. Now, my associate and me can provide you with "insurance" against "accidents" like that. It would be a shame if you were to "accidentally" pass out in some lime pits, and all your family found was your teeth and fillings.

The strip of images at the bottom shows how it would rise up, then descend to entirely engulf a small child or pet.

@Gann: What is that strip supposed to be?

Looks like it says "crossing lighting rods" to me. Why would it need to cross lighting rods?
