FBers who had already successfully posted comments PRIOR to that new May 11th policy were, in effect, already approved and therefore not subject to the new auditioning. You, for example, have been commenting since way before that cutover date and thus remain unaffected.
However, Reggie here is a BRAND NEW commenter. The new auditioning system SHOULD have prevented his comment from appearing until he had received manual approval from a Giz staffer. Given that Reggie broke the #1 Giz rule of doing that "First" nonsense, somehow he still got approval from somebody OR the new auditioning system has been repealed. Thus far, nobody at Giz has answered my question from hours earlier, i.e., how did this happen? (see above)
