    The smart thing would have been to make it half black/half white. How do you know which side is the pepper and which is the salt without turning it over or counting the holes? I'm assuming there may not be three holes on each side however only one is visible in the images above. (Many S&P shakers have more holes on the top of the salt than the pepper)

    I think the designer Ross McBride must of been sex deprived (if there is such a thing) when she came up with this design.
