    How good *ARE* Vizio TVs? They just sound like no-name Chinese garbage whenever I hear the name, even when strolling in and seeing "BUILT IN NORTH AMERICA" cards the store employees shove on the TVs to make you buy it 'cause it's your patriotic duty to buy a crap TV made in the US.

    But anyways: how good *are* they? #samsclubblackfriday

    @dragon:ONE: I know a bunch of people that have Vizio LCDs. The picture quality is actually decent. On par with the Samsung TV I have that cost about 30% more than a comparable Vizio. I can't speak to their reliability or quality of image adjustments. If I were in the market for a smaller LCD (like 32") I would definitely go with Vizio. For something larger I would at least consider Vizio. Also, I always buy at Costco for the free extended warranty.

    @andrew.mallner: The TV is one thing, but the support you get with a Samsung is another. Apparently, Samsung has MUCH better support than Vizio if something is wrong with your TV.
