    If you spend $900 on a display and then rely on the built in speakers for your sound, you have more money than brains.

    @closhedbb: I don't agree entirely. If it's a computer monitor or a bedroom TV (and how many people honestly use a 24" TV as their main set), I'm not opposed to running off the TV speakers. I've got a much bigger problem with the people who will drop the money on a Kuro or similarly priced plasma/LCD for their main set and run that off the TV speakers.

    @closhedbb: I use speakers for my main computer, then use the speakers in my monitor as the sound output for my other computer. That way I don't have to push both sounds out the same set of speakers, and can vary the volume.

    @CocktimusPrime: What's wrong with the speakers off the TV? Some people may live in a condo or townhome where they can't be too loud.

    @McRib_GitEmSteveDave: I tried that once, but then I developed speaker burn-in from playing the same sounds over and over again. I prefer higher quality after-market speakers that have a larger audio gamut. The Yamaha's I have now are capable of over 16.7 Billion sounds.

    @Jafro: Since I don't really play the same sounds over and over again, I shouldn;t have that problem. What kind of sounds were you playing?

    OK, is there no size listed, or do I need another cup of coffee?

    @ilves: It wasn't before.

    @sleepfortheweak: Well, now I know that about Samsung products. I thank you for the info.

    @gadam07: Thank you for confirming my sanity, if only for a few hours more.

    @pettiblay: I'm old. I don't have time for "googling", or whatever you kids call it nowadays. Someone could have said it was Dickety-three inches to begin with! Now I had to use the word "Dickety", because Kaiser stole the word twenty.....
