ARG!! Okay, so originally I wanted the MyTouch 3G, but then I realize T-Mo doesn't have as good coverage as AT&T, who I'm leaving because my iPhone is a very pretty useless device. Then I fall in love with the Sprint HTC Hero, but the hardware on this Samsung Behold II is better, and I LOVE Samsung hardware in general... but why does it have to go to T-Mo?
Should I wait for an even better Sprint or Verizon Android phone to come out, or should I stick with the Hero? Decisions decisions!!!
@Kev50027: In the Android arena, if you can, I'd wait til Decemberish to make your decision. There's still several phones due to come out (the HTC Hero, Verizon's Tao/Sholes/WTF, I think there's even been rumors of an AT&T device). Not to mention that Android 2.0 is allegedly coming out before year's end, which will change the feature set of a lot of Android devices.
So, there's a lot going down for Android in the next couple months, so if you're not sure, and looking to minimize that "Oh, man, if only I'd waited a week!" feeling, wait til after the holidays.
@OCEntertainment: Thanks, but I need to switch carriers now. My phone service through AT&T simply does not work anymore, I get so many dropped calls to make the non-dropped calls a statistically insignificant percentage of my calls.
I think I might rather be on the carrier that gets some cool phones, Verizon may have amazing service, but their phones are still so...blah. Sprint has the Hero and the Pre, as well as many WinMo phones and a wide selection.
I don't understand why cellphones companies competes with each other by designing cellphones lookalike. For example LG Shine, Iphone, Meizu miniOne, Teclast T59, LG KE850, or Samsung Instinct. I think cellphones companies would do much better if they design cellphones that are different, unique, like that of Japanese cellphones.
I do think that Nokia is heading on the right track because of their cellphones are completely different then that of the iPhone wannabes.
@Somadis: It's no different than any other product. Consumer demand causes manufacturers to flood the market with copy cats of whatever is hot and then they wonder why the sh*t doesn't sell. Look the auto industry. Sure they're not in demand now but at one point SUV's were all the rage. Did that make it necessary for manufacturers to produce the same vehicle in 6 or 7 variations of trim, grills and name plates? No, but that didn't stop them from doing it anyways..
