    Does anyone really buy cameras that aren't Canon or Nikon? I've found the former two to generally be more feature-rich than any other brand.

    Hopefully we'll see stuff like this creep into some of their other products too.

    I wonder how those dials effect battery life, also I wonder how reliable they are under stress. I've never been a fan of Sammy's cammy's though, I prefer their TVs.

    @Kev50027: If done properly, probably close to no effect at all. They could possibly even improve battery life by not using the screen to display battery life and picture counts.
