And the people who can buy this monstrosity are the ones the Republicans moan that they can't afford to pay 1% more in taxes so that everyone has health care.
@ggore:
But it isn't just 1% that they want to raise the taxes, is it? And, just because someone has the money doesnt mean a "poor person" (which most of the tax money that goes that way goes to people abusing the system) deserves a percentage.
I came from nothing, working in a supermarket, with my last 3$ in a bank account and now make a six digit salary by myself. I pay a huge amount in taxes already and now I hear they want to increase the tax rate to 50%?! I am not happy about that. That will put me in the poor house.. I wont be able to pay my home or my truck if they tax me that much. Well, I think I might be able to swing it if I dont go on any vacation trips, stop saving for my future children's college, stop going to resturants and movies and stop buying stuff for my house... And my house was the cheapest thing I could find in my area when I bought it that wasnt in the slums.
1% becomes 2%.. becomes 3%....
How am I going to buy a super yacht if the gov takes half my monies >_< I'd only buy a made in US super yacht though.. trying to keep the money in US
sorry for the rant.. bugs me when people want to keep raising the taxes because they want a piece of something that they think they deserve but did not work for and don't attempt to work towards bettering their life and the world around them (which is the secret of life - maybe ;)
@switchblade saints: All that stuff is in the water -- This is the upside-down version which was inspired by somebody that bought an upside-down Christmas tree.
Ugh, I HATE it when I have to drive my solid gold Segway around the pool of my fancy ass yacht. And if you even get me started on those stairs I'm going to throw a BF. And where's that boy with my martini?!

@Stitchopoulis:
Yoink!
Unfortunately, "Infinitas", though quite stunning to look at, is fairly impractical as a super-yacht.
You need something like this beasty:
