The scissors are actually a great-looking design concept, and though it seems you'd get less leverage using two fingers than with the inclusion of a thumb, I'd probably buy a pair to keep on my desk so people think I'm, you know, cultured and stuff. The finger scissors are constructed from a bunch of two-dimensional metal parts, which is pretty cool in itself. Looks like they're just a concept for now, but a very cool little idea. <![CDATA[Working Scissor Cufflinks Are For Wealthy Cutters]]> These solid silver, rhodium-coated scissor cufflinks are cutting edge and all, and very shiny, but at $550 for the pair I think I'll just rummage around the kitchen drawer and bend a pair of my own, thank you very much. Oh, what's that? They open and close, just like real scissors? Sold! [A+R Store]

<![CDATA[Cut Coupons, Serve Pies, Lose Respect With Pizza Scissors]]> Does the act of cutting up a pizza vex you to no end? Do you find yourself with numerous nicks and cuts on your palms because you constantly use the wrong end of a pizza cutter to slice pies? Lucky for you, there's pizza scissors. The manufacterer claims the $20 shears-and-spatula design won't damage plates or trays like a pizza wheel or knife would, but we think if that's the main reason you purchase one of these, you probably have bigger issues on your plate than a few dinged pieces of china. <![CDATA[BBG Perfect Gadget List Shows That Tech Can't Improve Everything]]> BBG has done an impressive thing: It came up with a list of 10 perfect gadgets, unchanged by time or tech. No need to build the better mousetrap, because the tried and true mousetrap made the list. So did the wristwatch, the toilet and scissors. I don't agree with the inclusion of the toaster (I prefer a toaster oven), and I can't figure out how they left off the fork (unchanged since the Bible), but it's a good read. Hit the link and let us know of any gadgets that are MORE perfect. [BBG]

<![CDATA[Real-Life Edward Scissorhands Cuts Hair With 10 Scissors At Once]]> Sorry, Johnny Depp. You were great in the original Edward Scissorhands, but this real life maestro of the blades from Israel puts your whole emo trip through suburbia to shame. And while hairdresser Danny Bargil lacks the hotness of a sidekick like Winona Ryder, and he can't kill a man with his bare feet a la Adam Sandler as the Israeli commando hairdresser Zohan, he makes up for it with the fact that he's flinging 10 sharp things at a person's head and they leave with both ears. Reuters got some video of the man in action, after the jump.

At 10 blades, Bargil's attempt is a world record, and bests the best of what the Japanese had to offer in 2006 with an all-in-one 9-blade pair of scissors. Finally, just for kicks (pun totally intended), here's Zohan, that other kick ass Israeli hairdresser.

<![CDATA[The Rock Paper Scissors Gadget]]> Incapable of making a fist, an open palm or a peace sign? Try this electronic Rock Paper Scissors gadget. For $8.89, you get two so you play RPS with a buddy with minimal (and we mean minimal) effort.

If your problem is your inability to pull the trigger and choose rock, paper or scissors after the three-count is done, this should alleviate your problems. But if you've got trouble doing anything at all on time, then even pressing the button on three will be too much. However, there's no way to screw with your opponent and throw five rocks in a row just for the hell of it.

<![CDATA[Laser Scissors]]>

If you can't eyeball and cut a straight line to save your life, these scissors project a line out for you to follow. The line will, of course, only be as straight as your ability to hold the scissors and therefore the laser itself perfectly steady. Good for adults then, maybe not so useful for children? $19.98 for a pair.
