I once had "quetzals" played on me... with the q on a double letter, across a triple word score. Yes, it cleared the rack. (playing games in my family sucks)
@soggy_cheerio: Trust me. You don't want to play games in my family. If it's not a Mayfair, or Ravensberger game, you don't want to play it. Although, we had every Avalon Hill game, and that's not too bad. We used to play Civilization, every time we got snowed in. My brother almost got into a fisticuffs with his fiance over a game of "Diplomacy". And, I've also seen people draw knives over much more pedantic games.
Best board games?
For children: Ravensberger's "The Amazing Labyrinth"
For thinkers: Mayfair's "Settlers of Catan"
For those with time to kill: Avalon Hill's "Civilization"
@judacris: Close up pics on the linked site show he glued the tiles onto pieces of wood to make the keys thicker. They also light up which is a nice touch as well.
@discounteggroll: One of the Facebookers who got in free. I have been seeing lots of complaints from BFB (BeforeFaceBook) commenters about them. Some will stay, but when the novelty wears off, a lot of them will leave. Just ride it out.
@alexmg2420: I dont dislike all the Facebookers, (someone, I think Stider, called them the "Great Unwashed Masses") and, in fact, many FBs have made good comments that contributed to the posts overall, and I hope they are the ones who stay. The less than quality FBs will eventually filter to the bottom of the bowl and be flushed away with the tides of time.

I promise I won't get mad at who gave this clown comment ability as long as it gets revoked pronto.
