I'd so buy this car. Aside from this thing looking mean itself it looks like it has a gun in the front {-where the motor pops out of the hood-which is a very nice touch btw-) i dont think any one would want to try to mess with the person driving this thing. The 1002hp itself scares people
@SneakerFiend: The 1002 hp will probably not scare anyone other than its occupant. I just wonder if the thing can even handle any kind of speed that the engine can deliver.
I guess I'm just not a car person, but I never understood why "cool" cars like this have such a low clearance. That thing is inches off the ground, how could you drive it anywhere except a flat stretch of racetrack?
@korybing: a popular modification to many custom cars is a hydrolic suspension that raises the ground clearance once the engine is fired up, and conversely, lowers the car to a point of barely being able to see under it when it is at rest. for more information, listen to a song titled "lowrider" by War.
@oranges: Ah, well that makes more sense then. The idea of it scraping on every turn and curve (and driveway, incline, hill, etc) seemed entirely impractical. If it actually raises itself off the ground while in motion I can see being actually drivable.
And I'm familiar with Low Rider. I don't remember the lyrics detailing the ability for a car to drive on a road if the clearance is only a few inches, though. I just remember the low rider is a real goer.
@korybing: You may know the song, but you're clearly not familiar with lowriders in action. While illegal, a common modification is to add scrape-plates to the underside so you can have a shower of sparks following you around whereever you drive (and then the hydraulics can be used to raise it up if you spot the cops before they spot you, so you don't get pulled over).
A thousand horsepower. So, like the Veyron, will set you back on gas like an African elephant would if you had to feed it cocaine on a regular basis. Unlike the Veyron, this would probably not go nearly as fast. Two steering wheels? The last vehicle I saw with two steering wheels was a garbage truck :D

I think the design is great and while it may not set any records for aerodynamics, it sure looks sweet (even in gaudy purple).

It only looks like that because it looks like they stole the design for the rear windshield from the front windshield of the Burtonmobile.
