so what... the canon cam they just released is water proof to 33 feet...

whats 10 feet water proof? ...

i mean why make this 10 foot waterproof when they also make one (OLYPMUS) thats also over 30ft water proof?

@henhen: The thing is, 10 feet is all you need unless you're diving, and then you probably need more than 33 feet. So I suspect that, on this, Oly decided not to spend the money to go that extra 20 feet. Make sense? Also, those ratings are conservative, and the thing can probably submerge farther than 10 feet with no problem. For an example of a waterproofing that works far deeper than it's supposed to, see Das Boot.
