I am really looking forward to this one, I am not even a photographer, but I know what some of you people can do, and really look forward to seeing how you use the B&W medium.
Youre gonna "wow" me, I just know it.

If you do not shoot B&W film for this then you are a digital tool. Go pick up a Holga, a roll of Ilford FP4+, and shoot. One day you'll develop it and print it yourself. If you want a little more control then pick up a cheap consumer SLR for $100 including lens and a 35mm roll of the same variety.

Digital B&W is just. not. the. same.

@MrCraven: Hey, if you have LF, then great - it's too expensive for the rest of us though.

@blash: i do agree that it is getting expensive now that things are starting to run away from the medium, but it is still fun to shoot with!

@blash: My LX3 kicks ass in B&W. If you know how to photoshop it's not only the same but can be as good or better. Purist.

@podspawn: I'm not talking about what it is you captured. With Photoshop, you can screw with the different color channels to get the proper color filter effect on B&W film but you will never, ever see the same effect that a silver print gives. Monitors just can't give the kind of glisten and contrast that a silver print can and for B&W it *does* make all the difference.

@Slinkytech: Minor tweaks are ok, but this is a shooting challenge not a photoshop contest. So, you can use photoshop to enhance your photo but not severely alter it (like add/remove objects).
