”Super Talent 8GB Flash Drive is World's Smallest
The chaps at Super Talent are not only incredibly modest, talented and super, but they must also be fantastically tiny to have put together the world's smallest 8GB flash drive. (Flawless logic, I'm sure you'll agree.) Retailing at $35, the price is pretty reasonable, at least until you drop it into your chest hair and lose it forever. Invisio G5 World's Smallest Bluetooth Headset Reviewed (Verdict: High Quality, But Lousy Wind Noise)
Because this Invisio G5 Bluetooth headset is the world's smallest Bluetooth headset, there's probably only one big reason why you're buying it. More »Hands On the JVC Everio GZ-MG730, World's Smallest Hard-Drive Camcorder
JVC's Everio line of camcoders just got a refresh, and we just got our hands on the highest-end member of the family, the GZ-MG730 with a 30GB storage drive and 10x zoom. It's got to be the tiniest hard-drive camcorder in the world, and it really does fit in a large pocket. It's light and has a comfy feel in the hand, and we really like the so-called "Laser Touch Operation user interface," better than a touchscreen by far. More »

Tiny Electric Guitar Has Normal-Sized Frets
Behold the smallest electric guitar in the world. Well, it's called the "smallest precision electric guitar available," because even though its body is just 1/6 the size of a normal instrument, its fretboard is the same size as an ordinary guitar. This is not a toy; it has a couple of pickups that can give you your choice of humbucking or single coil sound, and tuning machine heads that look pretty solid. The makers even tried to mimic the cellular structure of wood with its plastic body, injected with air bubbles in an attempt to give it more resonance despite its diminutive stature. Plus, holding his guitar will make you look really, really big. If that's important to you, it'll cost you $799.95. Kinda reminds us of that little Martin Backpacker. University of California researcher Chris Rutherglen shows off a radio made of carbon nanotubes, measuring "a few atoms across," that's 1,000 times smaller than today's radio technology. More »

Klipsch IMAGE Are the Smallest In-Canal Earphones Yet
Since I have gigantic wax-magnet ear canals, I'm probably the wrong market for these Klipsch IMAGE in-ear earphones. They're the smallest, lightest in-ear buds you can get (claim by Klipsch so far unverified), but will cost you $349 for the pleasure of having a pair made out of aluminum and copper. We're not sure how well Klipsch's speaker experience will translate into making earbuds, but even if they sound mediocre, you'll be able to prevent them from being stuck inside your ear with the locking rings. It can record 320x240 pixel QVGA video in color and includes an LED light for filming in dark places. [Misumi] via [GizMag]Panasonic HDC-SD7 is Now World's Smallest HD Camcorder
Panasonic just announced their new HDC-SD7 in Japan. Those tricksters are now saying that this is the world's smallest HD camcorder, and not yesterday's record-holder. This one has a vertical format but is it really the smallest of both?

Teeny Tiny Hitachi RFID Chip: Big Whoop
Smaller than a grain of salt, Hitachi's newest RFID chip measures .005 x .005 inches and is 7.5 micrometers thin. Using Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI) technology, it uses an external antenna to receive radio waves (2.45 GHz), and transforms it to energy to wirelessly transmit a 128-bit unique ID number for a high level of authenticity. But most importantly for Hitachi, it can make more of these chips on one single wafer, increasing production by four times. More »

World's Smallest PSU
Mini-box announced what it calls the world's smallest power supply on Thursday, the picoPSU-120. There are no fans and it runs completely silent. Roughly the size of two AA batteries, it actually plugs directly into the motherboard's ATX power connector. It can power the ATX motherboard connection, peripherals and hard drive. It is said that this can power up to 3GHz P4 machines, but it was obviously designed for low-power CPUs. This could serve a great purpose for the modder extraordinaires and at $49.95 it isn t too bad of a deal. More »
