    We've been friends for a while, but I notice that I'm giving and giving and giving, and all you do is take. I passed into one of your stores the other day, and all I saw were Blackberries and Sidekicks, and I realized that you just don't care about me anymore. I won't leave you, for now, but I hope this is the last time I have to ask.

    i hear ya! tmo phones are pretty sad, been w/them for years but plan on staying for the cheap data plans and decent cs.


    i just get unlocked phones, no contract extensions that way.


    but the price on this, hot DAMN! you gotta be crazy to try to sell a phone for that much.

    @seamonkey420: For a decent enough phone, I'm willing to renew a contract, since I don't intend to leave for a very long time, short of some disastrous rate hike that would force me out, which I doubt would happen.

    Much like the PS3, the Xperia X1 has no competition, so Sony can charge whatever they like - or, so says the Sony marketing department.


    Um, Sony - have you considered looking at the competition before pricing your products? Just a thought.
