I mean it's slick and all, it's just not for me.

It would be easier and better in every way to just get a 13" notebook.
Hell, a Refurb White Macbook is only $845... and you can run Photoshop on it.

I find this Sony very appealing, particularly from a size and weight perspective. It's about 2/3rds the weight of my HP Mini and a little bit smaller all around. That kind of portability is worth quite a bit of money in my book, though double the price is a lot to pay. For some, I'm sure it'll be worth it. I'm also impressed with the design - making the screen wider rather than just losing that space to bezel is a great move, and eliminating the touchpad is a gennius stroke. But a touchscreen would have really made this a brilliant device - it would have made so much sense and really elimated much of the need for a touchpad.

I know the "P" has other advantages and a smaller size, but either way I ain't fitting it in my pocket, so I'm good with more "bulk" for $500-800 less.
Though I'm sure some fanbois will pick this up b/c it's got sony's name. (I've never been a fan of sony 'puturs. Owned one, worked on a few. Blech).
FUCK YOU, PENGUIN! <--- PRICELESS
