What kind of fool was I to have faith that Sony would make a netbook that trounced the likes of Dell, Sony, Lenovo, Asus, HP, etc?

Also, what is the point of having the trackpad be placed asymmetrically when there's no number pad?

@Kaiser-Machead: One point is to make room underneath for a larger internal device on the right side

Another reason might be to make it easier to mouse and click, or provide more palm-rest space, but it doesn't really look like that would be the case here.

The last, and most important reason is to drive you crazy.

Silver, pink, and magenta w/ a grey desktop that makes it look like the fucking screen is broken.

This thing looks like an abortion... what happened to you Sony?

So is Sony now stupidly going after the market abandoned by the thankfully defunct Della site?

Is it just happenstance that the wallpaper resembles a broken LCD?

Given the specs, I assume that this netbook is not fully capable of taking advantage of that display resolution. I guess if you want to look at pictures, that's fine, but I'd like to know how this thing holds up on video media.

2 hours of battery life? Given how generous most of these estimates generally are, I can only guess that the real battery life is significantly lower. No freaking way. I'd rather get a Lenovo Ideapad S10.
