If you have Vista (oh the Horror) or Windows 7 you can use the sound mixer to mute everything but the media player of your choice.

God I hate it when I can't identify things I feel I should be able to....What the hell computer is that? It's not a late 2006 model MBP, because I have one, and it looks almost exactly like that except for the keyboard, which is silver, not black. And it can't be a current model MBP (even though they have black keys) because the screen lip on it is silver (like on my late 2006 MBP), not black like it is on current MBP's. Which explains my confusion....What the hell is that?

@TheSonOfKrypton: 17 inch unibody MBP with matte display.

@TheSonOfKrypton: Yup, the matte display kit... really ruins the looks of the machine, makes it look like a previous generation MBP with a black keyboard.

I like the think of it as Apple's way of saying 'screw you, if you want matte then you can look like you have an old computer!'... or something like that.

@TheSonOfKrypton: The base looks rounded up like the unibody Macbook/pros.

@TheSonOfKrypton: I was thinking the exact same thing. It's definitely a Unibody MBP, but doesn't look like a TechRestore job - the bezel is actually black when they do it....unless they're now offering an aluminum-like finish, which I haven't seen on their website. Any off-topic insight, Wilson?

Didn't they make this already, only it's called Airport Express and it doesn't require an extra dongle to carry around?

If they wanted to make something like this that was worthwhile, they'd make Wireless speakers that use 802.11 G or N to do it and accept IP streamed audio input.

@Wilson Rothman: Personally. I think comparing this to the airport express is inevitable. ;)

@EncNone: That's for the picture—I never actually used it with the laptop in the middle of two speakers. You can put the laptop anywhere, including another room.
