I don't know if it's indicative of my middle school mental state, but when I read "tools", my brain immediately jumped to "balls".

I was immediately thrown into chaos, and had thoughts of relinquishing my desire to be an astronaut.

@tehdahl: No need to give up your dreams. The chances of dying in a fiery explosion during a space flight remains significantly higher than the chances your junk will float away during a space walk.
