gawd, kids have it easy these days, what with their fancy pants twitter, automatic transmissions, pre-ripped jeans and high tech polymer spit balls. when i was a kid we bought weed using a payphone! coffee was black and a 2GB hard drive was plenty! MTV played music videos and neosporin was for pussies! there was a new seinfeld every week and we traded pogs! that's right, pogs.

can you imagine handing a youngster some cardboard discs and tellin him to go have fun, and to knock off all that AOLin' cuz it's costin us by the minute? #spitballs

@nutbastard: I feel so old when someone talks about "back in the day" and then mentions a 2GB hard drive and Seinfeld. I remember working at Radio Shack in the early 90's, then staying late and watching the new episode of Seinfeld on TV after-hours since it took me almost an hour to get home and PVRs hadn't been invented yet. 2GB? I remember when I was excited about the 420MB drive I bought for over $200 in 1995. 56k? Don't get me started on pogs and gas at the at-the-time exorbitant price of $1.86. Sigh.

Oh, and what would someone of an age to be interested in pogs be doing watching Seinfeld? The contest is not something pog-age kids need to understand. #spitballs

These look a lot like Tapioca balls...which is why some people just use pearls from Pearl Milk Tea as spit balls. Sticky, staining (because of the tea), and it comes with a launch tube too (the extra-large straws). #spitballs

Looks like it's mostly in So-Cal.. isn't In & Out enough for awesome fast food chains nowhere else?? New York is just finally getting their first Sonic... No fair! #spitballs

@yankeesrule: We're getting a Sonic? I know they opened one in Dirty Jerz on 17. Also, Five Guys burgers is a reality here? Where have I been??
All we need now is a Chik-Fil-A and we'll be set. But we already know that CFA is NOT coming to NYC... We like to eat junk on Sundays too in this burgh. #spitballs

@Norbs: I've never had In n Out, but have been dying to try. Katz's is ok, but not in the same league. Plus, now that 2nd Ave Deli is back (on 33rd and 3rd) it's way better than Katz's. #spitballs

@qbrad: In and Out is not amazing but it is great for the price, it beats any other fast food burger I can think of, tastes great and doesn't make ya sick.

I have not been to Sonic's enough times to REALLY compare the two but I think they are pretty close from what I've tried but In and Out seems healthier/more natural. #spitballs

@qbrad: lol well, I mean't more New York area when I said Sonic, which included Jersey (there are two there now...) - plus there is one in Kingston and one opening in CT... my guess is they want to see how it survives an NYC area winter before opening one in the city itself where the taxes are insane.. so hopefully next year.

BTW, I took a road trip to the one in Jersey on a Sunday night, and the line was so long, cops were literally turning cars away because the line was so long, it was blocking traffic #spitballs
