I appreciate the older German cars for their lack of even cup holders. Those days are gone, but at least they're not putting screens in their head rests. They're not, are they??

@Claytons: Porsche stripped itself of a piece of its soul and made an SUV. German cars are quite capable of being infected with headrest displays.

@Kaiser-Machead: Uhm, yeah it's an SUV. A 160 mph SUV, and it still has superior handling to most of what's on the road today.

And @Claytons: I've seen 750 series BMW's w/ screens in headrests.

@Lite: Performance-wise, yes, it's good. However, it's an SUV, a rather ugly SUV that totally makes me weep when I see the Porsche emblem on it.

"cooler." When you get to the grown up world and your car is over $100k is about class. Don't worry maybe it will happen for you one year.

Oh god. Benz hasn't figured out electronics in any of their cars so far.

I can't imagine the error messages these dual-displays will produce.

Now if they could ever get the tech right for sending different audio to discreet locations within the car (does not involve headphones) that would be awesome. To make this clearer, supposedly with this technology if you move your head outside of the targeted area, all you hear is white noise. So you can have various people in the same vehicle listening to different sources.

@Zlevee: I thought there was something like that already. Like in grocery stores where the sound was directional, so when you passed by the device, you hear the special of the day, but when you move out of the target area, you don't hear it. Maybe it was just a concept.

@pouls29: Actually I may have mis-spoken when I said "get the tech right". I think this was succefully developed already and it comes down to cost of implementation.

@fredygamer: Hence the reason the driver can't see it without leaning into the other person's seat.

I do agree though. I find the screen on the prius to be distracting so I just leave it on the radio stations.
