@GitEmSteveDave_HasAList: I dunno if we're going to see another Giz gallery for a long time. From what I understand, the endeavor nearly destroyed Frooch and Buchanan still huddles up in the fetal position remembering it.
I... don't buy it? It doesn't even look impressive nor ideal choice of control.
I get a strange mixed feeling that video showing MAV and iPhone doesn't seem to match up as what MAV was committed to do. In other words, I'd say might be fake.
The way the person tilting his iPhone was a little more than what MAV should do... yet, seem weak. I noticed there was other buttons but doesn't appear assigned for anything. Its throttle control need more work I think.
@The Nacon: Well it does not look the final product, yeah he was tilting it like crazy but thats just seems like the programing is not set up correctly. It does respond but not enough.
@Norbs: Most likely set up on purpose. That uav is kinda spendy($1200US). Better to have the controls a little toned down until you get the hang of them than move too much and send it crashing into the wall.
Ah, the future of law enforcement (tm). I look forward to smashing many of these with my handy crowbar. Watch out, Civil Protection! The resistance has those little indoor helicopters - the field is level - game on!
@Ken Elwell: Yes, b/c they will be flying these things at 7' off the ground. Of course, I bet your dumb enough to go throwing your crowbar at it when it's flying 50' up, eh?
