Why is it so difficult to believe that Stone-age era man invented TRIANGLES? They were essentially the same creatures as we are.

Sometimes researchers can be really boneheaded as they pursue brilliance.

hahaha back to the handaxe eh? I guess if you want tried and true, you have to go back to the original. The first piece technology humanity... well, loosely defined in any case ... ever had.

you know, there's a reason they left those in the stone age when they got to the bronze age.

unless he took the time to smash those ceramic blades off of a giant ceramic stone, they won't be any sharper than your standard knife. without a handle.

Like any designer worth his salt, Matthias knows that the best designs are those that take something simple and useful and turn it into something unusable. I see big things in your future Matthias. Big things.

@cpthook: I agree. I saw them and thought how simple, basic and FUNCTIONAL they are. As a cook, I would love to try these.

But, yes, I would probably chop my finger off too.

@tande04: I also encourage you to bring one on an airplane. Apparently, they are allowed. Just be sure to show it to the flight attendant mid-flight so they can approve it.
